Shop Stop Clapham Junction, the bustling retail hub located at one of Europe’s busiest railway stations, has announced an exciting digital investment in the form of a brand-new website, developed by leading design and marketing agency, Why Media.
This move marks a continued partnership between the Centre and Why Media, who originally designed and developed the existing Shop Stop website back in 2012. The original site has served the Centre for over a decade, a testament to both the durability of the platform and the quality of service delivered by Why Media. Building on this strong foundation, the Centre has once again appointed the agency to create a fresh, modern, and highly functional website tailored to the needs of today’s digital-first audience.
Shop Stop Clapham Junction Invests in new Website with Market-Leading Agency, Why Media
The new website will be built using MODX, a flexible and secure content management system known for its speed, SEO capabilities, and scalability. MODX will allow the Shop Stop team to easily update content while ensuring the site remains optimised for search engines, an essential feature for maintaining visibility in a competitive digital landscape.
In addition to improved functionality and streamlined navigation, the new site will feature interactive and dynamic elements, including a live Instagram feed, embedded video content, and a real-time departures board for Clapham Junction trains. This will provide users with an integrated digital experience that reflects the Centre’s vibrant, commuter-focused environment.
