According to CITB’s Construction Skills Network 2024-28 report, the UK’s construction output increased by 2% in 2023, marking the third consecutive year of growth. To meet this escalating demand, the UK will need more than 251,500 additional construction workers over the next five years.

This surge in demand is projected to fuel substantial growth in construction employment, with estimates indicating a workforce of 2.75 million by 2028.
