April saw the expansion of Why Media’s UK Marketing Department with the arrival of talented Digital Content Creator Sofiia Horshkova. 

Following Sofiia’s relocation from Ukraine, her native country, back in 2022, Sofiia, a passionate content creator, is delighted to become part of Why Media’s Marketing Team. 

After studying and pursuing a career initially within the public relations sector in Ukraine, Sofiia found a passion for content creation when moving to London. This passion has today seen her create an excellent reputation for creating high-engagement social media content, predominantly video and photography, 

In Ukraine, Sofiia made a significant impact at the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories as a Communication Specialist. She managed the Minister's social media accounts and website, organically amassing over 10,000 followers on Facebook. Sofiia's strong event management skills were evident when she successfully coordinated an event for 100 politicians and building developers in just one week. Despite the tight deadline, Sofiia and her team achieved all their goals: hosting 100 guests, securing 20 media mentions, and 7 broadcasts on TV.

With a strong passion for the property sector, Sofiia has already delivered a series of videos for several Why Media clients; these include Arlington Residential, a prime North-West London estate and Austin Homes, a dynamic East London sales and letting agent. 

Sofiia commented, “I'm so thrilled to be joining Why Media. I can't wait to produce engaging and creative content that people really connect with. With my background and commitment, I hope to bring fresh ideas to our content creation. I have always had a strong passion for property, and with Why Media mainly providing marketing services for the property sector, new new career step really ties my passions together.’
